Team Leaders ultimately have a dramatic and positive impact on students
as they learn about themselves and others. Choices 4 Youth’s programs
help youth:
- Improve communication skills
- Build and strengthen friendships with fellow students
- Discover how to work as a team
- Motivate students to achieve their goals
- Learn and practice leadership skills
The job of a Team Leader is to focus intensely on your team of participants, while also helping to support the entire program and the group as a whole. You will get to facilitate, and participate in, most of the activities. In many ways you are the heart of the program. You will have the most one-on-one interactions with the students and role model for them how to work as a successful leader and team.
