Throughout the year teachers
are so busy that they rarely have time to connect
and get the support they need from one another.
The community created among staff and teachers
in a school has a profound and direct impact
on the community created among the students.
These workshops are designed to pull the staff
together into a strong and healthy community.
Ideal times for these retreats are the beginning
of the year to create a good foundation, the
middle of the year to recharge each other, or
the end of the year when it’s time to
celebrate and really look at what needs to change.
These one to two day retreats can be a great
time to:
- Create school and community goals
- Establish lines of communication
- Share valuable teaching strategies and ideas
- Define key values within your community
- Create friendships to keep your staff strong
